The 10th edition of the national festival of arts Ahwach will be held from 10 to 12 June 2022 in Ouarzazate and will bring together more than 1,100 artists from different regions (Draa-Tafilalet, Guelmim-Oued-Noun, Souss-Massa and Marrakech-Safi).
This edition is organized under the patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, in partnership with the prefecture of the province of Ouarzazate, the Council of the region of Draa-Tafilalet, the Regional Council of Tourism (CRT), the Provincial Council and the Communal Council
Several folk troupes of the arts of Ahwach will present performances in the four main squares of the city of Ouarzazate and will highlight the richness and diversity of this artistic and cultural heritage.
This festival will aim to encourage the younger generation to practice this art to preserve this heritage.
