The watersheds of Midelt

Land of apples and hospitality, the Province of Midelt is located at the junction of the Middle and High Atlas. Far from the role of stage that is wrongly attributed to it, the Province is endowed with a nature as enchanting as surprising. Here, the imposing massifs offer picturesque panoramas, with the desert as a horizon; and the succession of plains, plateaus and hills form the perfect terrain for hiking and camping. A moderate steppe climate imposes a quietness on the place, making it conducive to a change of scenery and a connection with nature and oneself. The province is also home to some of the best climbing spots, including Jbal Ayachi, the dean of the High Atlas.
